Join multi-Emmy nominated Darley Newman for Season 11 of "Travels with Darley" and experience North Dakota’s vibrant sunflowers, heritage-inspired cuisine, and roadside attractions. 

Darley was in North Dakota last summer capturing content to feature North Dakota’s unique communities, rich culture, and authentic experiences. There will be two North Dakota episodes with one broadcast and streaming in 2024 and the other in 2025. Viewers can tune into “Travels with Darley: North Dakota Chasing Sunflowers” on Sunday, January 28th at 3:30 pm on Prairie Public Broadcasting. Preview the episode here

Delve into the beauty of sunflower fields, quirky roadside attractions, and thriving businesses throughout the state. The first episode highlights Bismarck to New Salem with art alleys, museums, a river cruise, cute and quirky cafes, breweries, and cuisine. 

“From vibrant sunflower fields to the state museum to Salem Sue, this episode is filled with surprising attractions that locals and travelers might like to experience in North Dakota, as well as cool entrepreneurs you might meet on your travels,” said Darley. “This was my second time visiting North Dakota and the beauty of the landscapes, as well as the depth of history we uncover in the episode is truly special.”
