Job Shadow Week is February 8-12

Have you ever wondered what a specific career actually does? If an attorney works a 40 hour work week? If a registered nurse has to travel? Job Shadowing is a great tool to answer these questions. Job Shadow opportunities allow you to spend a few hours or a day with a certain professional learning and seeing what their job entails. This opportunity will give you more information to explore such as what classes may prepare you better, if the job has requirements such as travel you were not aware of, if it’s what you thought, and other useful information. Contact your school career development counselor to set up a job shadowing opportunity.
