Commerce Names Workforce Development Director

The North Dakota Department of Commerce has hired Wayde Sick as the Workforce Development Division Director.
Sick will oversee specialized programs and services to assist in enhancing the workforce of North Dakota. Sick replaces past director Beth Zander, who retired earlier this year.
A native of Washburn, ND, Sick previously served as workforce talent and project coordinator for the Workforce Development Division. Sick also served as the school director at the Missouri Valley Montessori School in Bismarck. Prior to relocating to Bismarck, he served as deputy center director of the Burdick Job Corps Center in Minot. Sick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in social science education and Master of Science in management degree from Minot State University.
