North Dakota Ranks No. 1 in 2014 GDP Growth
North Dakota’s economic growth outpaced all other states last year, according to information released by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). Factors driving the state’s top ranking include continued growth in economic production, new jobs, rising wages and increasing export sales. North Dakota has led the nation in economic growth for four of the past five years.

North Dakota Development Fund Increases Funding Limits for Businesses to $1 Million
The North Dakota Development Fund, a loan program within the North Dakota Department of Commerce, announced today it has increased funding limits from $300,000 to $1 million. “This increase in funding to $1 million will help businesses access capital to help support start-ups or expansion projects across our state,” North Dakota Development Fund CEO Dean Reese said.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).
