This event is a collaborative effort of the North Dakota Department of Commerce, North Dakota Compass at North Dakota State University and the University of North Dakota. The purpose of this conference is to best equip you with the tools and data relevant to your needs and to inspire you to act together for a better future in North Dakota.

Paul will motivate attendees to use data in decision making and planning; to make a difference in their communities and in the people who live there
. Starting with data, he will illustrate how demographics can help improve quality of life for communities across the state. He will share several key ingredients that build trust among community leaders, public officials, news media, and others, while encouraging attendees to use sound, reliable information in the decision making process. Paul will demonstrate how to best move from information to impact and how the state can utilize demographic indicators to enrich the lives of its community members.
