Bruce Furness
Bruce Furness worked for IBM for 30 years in several locations. With the Greater North Dakota Association from 1992 to 1996, he worked with the Vision 2000 project, coordinated strategic planning and assisted with membership development. Mr. Furness was elected to the Fargo City Commission in 1992 and served as Mayor of Fargo from 1994 to 2006. Bruce was employed by State Bank & Trust of Fargo from 2006 until March of 2008. He was appointed interim CEO of ND Workforce Safety and Insurance, a position in which he served through March of 2009.

John Machacek
John Machacek is the Finance Director with United Way of Cass-Clay. John was appointed to the North Dakota Economic Development Foundation to represent young professionals in the state. John has held the chair and vice chair roles for both the Fargo-Moorhead Young Professionals Network and the North Dakota Young Professionals Network. John is a native of Langdon, ND and resides in Fargo with his wife and two children.

Kathleen Gaddie
Kathleen Gaddie is the President of Ryan Auto Group of Minot and Williston. As an active board member of the Minot Area Development Corporation, Kathleen has worked hard for Economic Development in the state. She serves on the Economic Development Foundation and is also a Commissioner for the Centers of Excellence. Kathleen resides in Minot with her husband.

Tim Hennessy
Tim Hennessy is Regional President for U.S. Bank in Western North Dakota. Tim began his banking career in 1977 with the State Bank of Burleigh County in Bismarck. Hennessy serves on boards for numerous organizations in Bismarck including Bismarck Industries, Bismarck Mandan Development Association, Missouri Valley YMCA, and the North Dakota Economic Development Foundation. He currently serves on the ND Centers of Excellence Commission, and is currently serving as chairman of the North Dakota Bankers Association.

Shane Goettle
Shane Goettle assumed the position of Commissioner of the North Dakota Department of Commerce in November 2005. A North Dakota native, Goettle brings to this position a wealth of experience from the public and private sectors at the local, state and national level. As Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Goettle oversees the lead agency responsible for attracting, retaining and expanding wealth in North Dakota. The agency has hundreds of partners -- local, state, federal, public, private, and non-profit - and is the primary facilitator for all entities involved in the economic and community development process.
