Innovate ND: Rookie Boot Camp

The Rookie Boot camp is for enrolled 2012 participants, or people interested in enrolling in Innovate ND 2012.
The boot camp is an educational half day event that will help participants prepare, or polish, their idea executive summaries which are due on Nov. 14, 2011.
Location: BSC National Energy Center of Execellence Room 335 - EGC Conference Room, Bismarck, ND
Time: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Lunch will be provided)
Meet Your Instructors
Jeffrey A. Stamp, PhD2Dr. Jeffrey Stamp is the Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of North Dakota's Center for Innovation. He is also the former endowed chair of entrepreneurship at UND helping to build the program to a top 25 national ranking. Dr. Stamp has been leading the development of the InnovateND educational program for all 5 years of the competition and has over 25 years of worldwide experience in bringing out the creative best in business professionals and university students. Dr. Stamp is also a serial entrepreneur both in his earlier corporate life as the developer and section manager of the initial brand and product development team of "Baked Lays", for PepsiCo's snack division Frito-Lay as well as his own private entrepreneurial ventures that includes Bold Thinking, LLC an entrepreneurial education company and 8 other start-ups.
Carla Hixson, BSC Office of Innovation The Colors training provides an easy way to understand personality types and gives you tools to understand and appreciate yourself and others more fully. The session is strongly recommended for those who are putting together a business team as it helps boost teamwork and communication skills, both of which can be used in all areas of your life!
